This Easter weekend has been one of the best weekends I’ve ever had.
Good Friday consisted of CYSM training, and then having family time at the Dandenong Ranges with the Ho family. I battled my way up the thousand steps, and at one point Paul thought I was having an asthma attack..awks. Haha. Aunty Lana has already made plans for Central Australia trip for 2013. Yeww! That night, celebrated Sop Allan’s 21st by having drinks at her house and then afterwards, Mel Ho was DD and drove us to Longroom (mah roooom)to par-tay! Had a number of shots and enjoyed the night with the girls and Stan (hilarious!). Annie, Kathy and Rae were slapping guys arses all night, which was hilarious but Paul and I were tired pretty early so decided to head off. Gotta say big thanks for driving me and girls home CW.
Easter Saturday, headed to Bendigo with CYSM flower dragon girls EARLY. Okay 8:30 was early after long room Had the most hilarious drive down, eating non-stop and just laughing the whole way down. Still can’t believe I paid $3.50 for ONE hot cross bun in Malmsbury. Pfft, they weren’t as good as Mum’s ones. Got to Bendigo completely stuffed, and had more food before we performed our Flower dragon dance, which we got told had the best “Wow” factor of the whole performance - there were a few mistakes, where I got bashed in the head, but everyone loved it. At night, had Luci’s 21st were I major CEEEBED dressing up in the “Song title” theme, so wore my normal clothes and painted my face as a day of the dead zombie. Haha trust right? Danced this WEIRD pregnant lady dance with Roy. Which was the funniest dance to watch no doubt! Caught up with people I hadn’t seen in ages so it was lots of fun! Didn’t get home til 6am because we dropped by the MANCAVE and played fifa with Andy who thrashed CW!
Easter Sunday was my recovery day. Spent the day TRYING to study at Hoes. But, I’m pretty sure I was more of a distraction than a good study buddy!! Got home, were Mum was raging so I cleaned the whole house to get her off my back.
Easter Monday, Breaky with Lysanne, then drove Crowley, Paul and Em to FOOTSCRAY (battling a hail storm, whilst Em and Crowley are freaking out in the back seat, no worries I got this la!) to have CHE, we met up with the Vietnam boys (Victor, Tim and Payne ) + DK and pretty much turned into one of their boys during lunch, talking about what was hot about a girl. Such important lessons learnt during lunch. Mum wrapped up the evening with a BBQ with her friends, and I made scones for them all.

Easter is never a big deal in my life/family. But I have to say that the one thing that I have learnt this year, is that it doesn’t matter where you go or who you’re with, as long as you in good company, you can have the most amazing memorable time and appreciate this time to just relax.
